Food is always delicious! I love all the seafood options. My brother said mikes creole was fantastic and I enjoyed my crab legs. The service is always 10/10. Very nice, kind staff. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. The patio/ outside area is very nice. Always enjoy coming to mikes place. It’s a go-to for my family/ friends in Conway!
Mike's place is a very good Cajun seafood & steak restaurant. The bar is well stocked & the atmosphere is great. My wife & I have been dining here for special occasions for years. She particularly likes the crab cakes. When I’m not too hungry I tend to favor the chicken or fish wraps. The seafood crepes are outstanding.
This review is long overdue! I visited Mike's Place in July 2024. The atmosphere was clean, warm, and inviting. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits: jumbo gulf shrimp piled on Southern grits topped with a savory butter sauce. They were the best shrimp and grits i had ever had! The Mike's Place team was kind and attentive. I highly recommend Mike's Place!
I had a wonderful dining experience. We had the seafood platter and grilled pork chops. The lobster tail was a nice size. The fried green tomatoes were very tasty. Destiny was a wonderful server. We traveled from West Little Rock and will definitely return.
Have always had a great meal. We went to celebrate my birthday and service was a little slow, but it was also New Years eve and they were very busy. Other than that it was a great experience.
OMG!!! This lives up to its reputation. Had the rib eye and also the beef kabob. Sooo, good!! Loved the salad also. Ambience is calming, relaxing and enjoyable. No rushing.
My family was on our way to Missouri for a Thanksgiving trip, but we wanted to stop in Arkansas to meet with some family. They recommend we meet them at Mike's Place. There were about 15-20 people in our group. Every single one of them commented that the food they received was some of the best ever! I ordered the chicken alfredo as was also very impressed! The waiter was very comfortable and helpful considering how many people he was dealing with! I highly recommend this restaurant!
We used to come here often whenever we visited family in town. This time, we were just passing through and didn’t make a reservation, and unfortunately didn’t have time to wait for a table. We decided to order takeout instead, and the food was still outstanding. The calamari is the best we’ve had so far, and the steak is always delicious. The service is consistently warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re in town again!
Calamari was good. Softest I’ve ever had not rubber and chewy at all. Apple martinis were delicious especially with bits of dried apple in them. Yummm. Had the shrimp and grits. Again delicious. The crème brûlée custard was ok. The topping was too chewy like toffee. The chocolate cake was good.
It is rare to find a place where everything was good. Food, atmosphere, service, the bathrooms even were just outstanding. My first visit but my husband has been several times for work dinners. Tonight we had the zucchini fries to start, hubby had prime rib with salad and creamy spinach, I had coconut shrimp with creamy spinach and sweet green beans (prob the best green beans I've ever had in my life!), desserts we had the key lime pie and bread pudding (the sauce on this was heavenly). Neo, our server, was a Rockstar! Had at least 3 tables plus us and not one was overlooked. The staff here are great, friendly and efficient, working together like a well oiled machine. Once a table was finished and folks gone the table was cleared, cleaned, and reset for the next customers within 5 to 10mins tops. It is a bit pricey but it is worth every penny.
